Cataracts are a natural part of aging that cause the eye’s lens to become cloudy, leading to blurry or dim vision. Cataract surgery is a safe, highly effective procedure that removes the clouded lens and replaces it with a clear, artificial lens called an intraocular lens (IOL).
The procedure is typically quick, performed on an outpatient basis, and designed to restore clarity while improving your overall quality of life. Many patients notice brighter colors, sharper vision, and reduced glare sometimes as soon as the next day.
